Broadcast and LiveU equipment rental
The right gear for the weekend, without buying it.

We’ve been renting production equipment since 2017. A broadcaster who needs one more transmission unit to cover an event. A production house that wants to try before buying. A studio where something failed two days before a shoot.
This isn’t a self-serve rental counter. We prepare the configuration, test it before it ships, and stay reachable while you’re using it.
What we rent most
- LiveU units — LU300, LU800, LU4000 and Solo, for live transmission over bonded cellular
- Cameras — from pocket cinema bodies to studio cameras
- Wireless intercom — complete kits for shoot or event crews
- Turnkey podcast studios — the room, the technical chain and the handling
- Control room gear — switchers, monitors, converters, recorders
- Edit and control laptops — configured for the job, not just powerful
LiveU: we sell it first, we rent it too
To be clear: our business with LiveU is sales and integration. The vast majority of units we put into service are bought by our clients, and we support them from sizing through to service. Our LiveU page covers that in detail.
Rental exists for cases where buying isn’t the right answer: one-off coverage, peak-driven needs, one more unit for the length of an event, or a trial before committing. A playoff series, a three-day festival, an election night.
If you go out often, we’ll tell you to buy — even if it costs us a rental.
We prepare the SIMs, configure encoding profiles for your chain, and test the link before the case leaves. A unit that arrives on site unconfigured is a useless unit.
How it works
Tell us what you have to do, not what you think you need. Unit count and configuration follow from the mandate — not from an equipment list.
We prepare and test. Anything that passes through our facility is checked before it goes out. Some orders ship straight from the supplier to you, and we tell you upfront when that is the case.
We stay reachable. A rental during a live show means someone on the phone if it acts up.
Questions we get asked
“Can we rent before buying?” Yes, and it’s often the right way to decide. You confirm the gear does the job in your real conditions before committing a budget.
“Do you deliver on site?” Depending on the mandate and the region. We cover Quebec, the Maritimes, Ottawa and Toronto.
“What if it breaks during the event?” We keep spare stock and a parts pool. Same logic as our support contracts: plan B is part of the offer.
“Do you rent to individuals?” We mostly work with broadcasters, production houses, institutions and businesses. Write to us and we’ll tell you straight whether we’re the right supplier.
Describe what you need to do, not what you think you need to buy. We point you to the right person at DXM, and we say so when it isn’t for us.
