Post-production equipment
The right post-production gear, chosen for your formats and installed to work.

Buying post-production equipment is easy. Buying gear that still keeps up with your editors two years from now is another matter. We sell post-production equipment and we integrate it: the workstation, the storage, the network and the reference monitor arrive together, configured and tested in your workflow.
The equipment we supply
- Editing and grading workstations: Mac and PC built for your real formats, software and effects, not for a spec sheet
- Shared storage: we are an EditShare integrator, so the whole team works on the same media at the same time
- Blackmagic Design and DaVinci Resolve: capture and playback cards, converters, grading panels, Studio licences. See Blackmagic Design
- Reference monitors: calibrated grading and control displays, so what you deliver is what you saw
- LTO archiving: libraries and drives to keep finished projects without filling your production disks. See LTO archiving
- Production network: high-throughput switches and cabling to every seat
- Post-production audio: interfaces, monitoring and acoustic treatment for mix rooms
Why buy from an integrator
We size before we sell. How many simultaneous streams, in which formats, at what peak hour. That calculation decides the workstation and the storage, not the catalogue.
Everything arrives configured. Drivers, licences, network mounts and calibration are done before handover. Your editors sit down and work.
We stay after delivery. Support, spare parts and updates: we know the gear we sell and we look after it. See System support.
Who it’s for
Post houses, broadcasters, producers, schools and corporate video departments, in Montreal, Quebec City and everywhere we work. For a complete room, see also Edit suites and post-production.
Questions people ask us
“Do you sell the equipment only, without installation?” Yes, when your team can install it. We tell you plainly when a piece is worth integrating and when it can simply be delivered.
“Mac or PC for editing?” It depends on your software, your formats and what already runs in-house. We start from your current workflow, not from a preference.
“Can we keep our current workstations?” Often, yes. We look at what can be extended before proposing to replace anything.
Describe what you need to do, not what you think you need to buy. We point you to the right person at DXM, and we say so when it isn’t for us.
